About Daniel
I am a Jazz guitarist and composer. I was born in A Coruña in 1995. In my teenage years I learned how to play and produce Rock and Pop. In 2014 I moved to Boston, USA where I went to Berklee College of Music and graduated with a specialization in Jazz guitar. I moved to New York for a year afterwards. During the last 3 years I have played countless concerts as a leader and sideman in New York, Boston and Galicia. I was the leader of a weekly set at the famous Wally's Jazz Cafe for more than a year. In Galicia I have played in prestigious clubs such as the Jazz Club Filloa in A Coruña or the Cafe Latino in Ourense.

I do not like to focus on the technical or theoretical aspects of music in excess. My method can be simplified to locating a musical goal and perfecting the technique necessary to execute it. The best way to learn technique and theory is through the music that we are passionate about and interested in.

He is gentle, fun, also with a lot of knowledge for jazz history. He taught me jazz improvisation from basic level to advanced level. Even though I am a piano player, what I learned from him is super helpful for me to develop jazz piano performance. He sometimes showed me his improvisation technique and I believe he is one of the best jazz guitarists in the world!
