Ms B was a helpful and friendly teacher, punctual and efficient, with a good understanding of working with students at their level, and at a pace that allows students to develop and gain confidence in their abilities in a natural, unforced and effective way...
My daughter was failing in GCSE Ms B helped her in all three subjects to pass well.
Ms B was able to fill in the gaps for my son when studying his Physics GCSE as he had missed some of his course and he was able to regularly test him which helped him in his confidence. His grades in practice papaers were marked up from C to an A* and he achieved an A* in his final paper.
Ms B always ensures that my daughter has a thorough understanding of the AS Biology topic we are studying, by lending her own materials, giving handouts and sending out information prior to the lesson. My confidence has improved and my grades are improving at school as a result...
Ms B has taught me A2 Biology. I think your style of teaching suited me really well, the discussions were particularly interesting and beneficial to me. I feel that you have also taught me key revision techniques whcih have proved to be extremely helpful especially when I struggled to remember certain topics...
Ms B came to teach my son when he attained a C a GCSE in Chemistry. Over the few months that he was taught he grew in confidence by identifying the areas of weakness and going through them thoroughly with material and video links. His final grade was an A* in Chemistry and Physics..
My daughter had very little subject knowledge at the beginning of the sessions due to a weak science teacher. Ms B got grips very quickly with areas she needed to work on and covered the topics thoroughly using a range of tecahing tools. Ms B has a lovely manner and approach with my daughter increasing her confidence and encouraging independent study inbetween sessions.
My daughter as a result of her tutorials feels more confident at Physics, and going through papers less challenging. Ms B has been a flexible reliable tutor, and we plan to have her next year for our son as he enters GCSE.
