Amy began her yoga practice in 2011, it was during this time she was suffering from some severe health issues. Previously trained as a dancer, she had taken time away to heal, studying fine art, and then a short course in nutrition in hopes to support her health. In order to recover, she became dedicated to a balanced, conscious lifestyle with a regular yoga practice.
In February 2019 she completed a 200 hr Hatha training in Miami, run by Yoga Asana Champion Gianna Purcell. She currently teaches at Studio iO, Brighton, and private yoga and meditation sessions from her home studio. She is committed to continuing to develop her personal practice. With a drive and enthusiasm for self study, she can’t help but to read about and research her interests daily! Her classes focus on the individual requirements of students through posture and breath, to find stability in themselves and support for their physical and mental health.
Through integrating her previous experiences and creative background, she has produced classes and courses that offer a compassionate approach, introducing yoga practice into the students lives and encouraging everyone to find a personal practice suitable for them.
