I approach each student's needs differently. The technicality of the subject remains but the delivery method varies depending on what type of approach the student takes towards the material. I believe teaching to be a very flexible art where the teacher has to adapt in order to positively challenge their students.
I'm a cellist currently on my second year of my master's degree in music performance at the Royal College of Music. I did my undergraduate in Riga, Latvia and that's where I got a dual qualification. I'm an international chamber music laureate and still work with groups on both short-term and long-term projects.
The reason I think I'd be the best fit for a cello, chamber music or music theory tutor is my interest and knowledge of teaching, being keen on finding the best learning approach of every student, and six years of teaching both privately and in music schools.

Elize is a fabulous teacher. She is very attentive and my five year old son always looks forward to his weekly cello lessons. She's very helpful in answering my questions and shows me what he needs to work on. Highly recommend!
