I have a degree in Education-Health and Physical Education from the University of Wollongong in Australia. I spent three years teaching in Australia, including Maths tutoring for a program designed to help indigenous students. I moved to the UK in 2009 and taught in a secondary school in North London for almost five years, my roles included Head of Year 9 so I have strong passion for the pastoral care side of teaching and can build good rapports with young people.
I have also taught as a PPA in a primary school in Richmond so am competent and confident in a range of subjects, particularly maths and science (having also taught maths at lower secondary level in Australia and my university degree included a lot of biology).
I am capable of teaching across a large range of year groups, I'm passionate, reliable and enthusiastic and get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing young people achieve.
