I have taught students at one to one level for 2 years, conducted lectures and also demonstrated practical lab based work. I love learning a use tried and tested methods which include listening to the student, working out which areas are proving tricky and working together in a fun, enlightening and practical way to induce excellent learning and retention of facts.
I have a PhD in genetics from the University of Southampton. I then worked both abroad and in the UK Government in science management roles. I have successfully taught students at various stages of my career and enjoy passing on my love of learning.
