I have taught students from year 9 up to degree level in different approaches to drawing and image making. My approach is hands on and an introduction to different forms of printmaking, drawing, painting, illustration and concepts in art and design backed up by a strong knowledge of art history and movements.
I am an experienced visual artist and teacher with a background in design, illustration and the fine arts. I'm currently a student at the Royal College of Art and previously attended the Royal Drawing and Kingston University where I graduated with a first class degree in Illustration/ animation. I now teach drawing and printmaking sessions with the Royal Drawing School and am a visiting lecturer at Kingston University.

Artist in Residence - Colston Hall, Bristol

I am currently working on a project with the historic music venue Colston Hall. Working collaboratively with an oral historian, I am visually documenting memories of people that have a connection to the venue. These observations will be used as a starting point to create a publication, exhibition, animation and workshops to be held in Bristol.
Workshop Leader - Vivacity, Peterborough

I designed and am currently running a series of participatory workshops with the arts organisation VIVACITY based in Peterborough. I have secured funding to deliver workshops for the public based on exploring neighbourhoods through walking and drawing as a group. The results of the workshops will be made into a publication and exhibited at different venues around the city.

I am currently teaching the young associates group with the Royal Drawing School, working on delivering art lessons at various locations around London and Oxford to a group of 14-18 year old students.
Visiting Lecturer - Kingston University, London
December 2016 - present
I work as a visiting lecturer at Kingston university with 2nd year and foundation illustration students. I am responsible for planning and delivering location drawing classes to groups of 20 students at a time. This includes finding locations, giving tutorials and facilitating critiques of student work. I also work in the studio delivering tutorials and crits for various projects.

My main roles were to assist with the organisation and running of the art department including ordering materials, putting up displays, assisting with 3d work and teaching. I also ran art clubs in drawing and printmaking for students aged 11-16.

My main responsibilities on the three month teaching residency were setting up and leading drawing workshops and teaching on the painting, design, foundation and fashion courses for students aged 18-22. I worked with other tutors at the school to set up new classes and introduce students to new approaches to image making.
Artist in Residence - METAL, Peterborough
August 2015 - March 2016
I undertook a residency comparing and contrasting public spaces in the city of Peterborough. Working with local people in the city I created a film, a publication, an exhibition and a series of participatory workshops relating to two locations- the main shopping centre and a community run garden space.

My main role was to assist in the delivery of art workshops to different groups of children. One was a group of school students, years 7-9, who had been ejected from mainstream education due to behavioural difficulties. This group was working towards their arts awards. The other group were children in years 1-3 attending an after school arts club.
Technical Fellow, Printmaking - Kingston University, London

During my time as a technical fellow, my main roles included: providing technical support to students on the use of the printmaking facilities and to offer guidance and advice on their own projects within printmaking; maintaining the studio to the best standards, making sure it was clean, organised and the facilities were all in operational order; and assisting with the refurbishment of the studio, moving and installing equipment.
