My teaching method would come from the students themselves, to distinguish where there are gaps in their learning and from there I can teach them methods and techniques to answering each question with confidence. From one sub-topic to another. I am familiar with the new GCSEs route, as I achieved an 8 in my final exams. I would be able to teach students from the age of 7 to 16.
I have just graduated from secondary school, where I had learnt English Lit, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Maths and Korean. I have been accepted into Sheffield and Swansea University where I will be learning Civil Engineering starting September. I have done numerous volunteering tutoring through my school and have also been teaching my younger sister maths since she was in grade 5.
Saturday School Helper
February 2019 to December 2019
This was a school planned event, where each week students from Marymount would plan lessons according to the book theme. During my volunteer time it was based on 'The Little Prince'. Each week would be an alternating subject, such as English and Mathematics or Science and Art. The job entailed us to come up with different lesson plans, making sure that it was engaging and that they would learn something at the end of the day.
