Here is a structure of how I teach my 2 hour sessions:
*The student is tested on content taught in previous class
*Any doubt based on that content is clarified
*Planned content for current session is taught
*The student is tested with few questions to confirm understanding
*Homework based on requirements of the student is given
The student is given a test once every 2 months to confirm that student hasn't forgotten any previously taught and confusion exists
