My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking to establish a learner-centered environment in the classroom. I choose the content and activities of each tutorial as both significant and challenging for the students so that they are stimulated to think “beyond” their comfort zone and feel involved in their own learning process. The application of technology such as Smartboards and computerbased materials such as MATLAB, PSpice, Labview, YouTube in the classroom are helpful tools in the promotion of meaningful learning through collaborative work.
I have a 10+ years experience in tutoring and lecturing in the level of secondary and tertiary. I received my PhD in Telecommunications from University of South Australia and have been doing research and teaching in UniSA since 2013. I tutor and supervise practical subjects in Maths, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Telecommunications.
