Methodology
I teach anyone who wants to learn or refine their language skills and abilities, whether that means social or business conversation practice, focusing on passing an exam, or general language to live and study in the UK. I like to base my lessons on my students; their needs and current level, their interests, and their goals as well as incorporating my love of reading and speaking into all aspects of lessons. I am creative, patient and have high realistic expectations for all my students.
Experience
I have taught a range of ages (5-80+ years old); in the USA, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the UK; in state schools, private language schools, private 1:1 and small groups; General English, exams (Cambridge suite, IELTS, TRINITY, OET), Business, EAP (English for Academic Purposes), English literature, language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) as well as proofreading/editing texts.
