Methodology

As a tutor I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, and to cultivate a long-lasting appreciation and interest in the humanities beyond the syllabus. I have experience teaching the new GCSE syllabus for German and have also experienced learning under the new revised A Level system and therefore understand the level of comprehension now required.
With this in mind I always strive to make lessons as enjoyable as possible without straying too far from the syllabus.
For mature students or those wishing to learn German for pleasure I have previously done a programme of casual conversation classes and oral comprehension with translation works to be done in private study.
I offer both group and one-to-one lessons depending on personal circumstance and need.
