I'm offering History of Art tutoring in the London area for those wanting a little extra help at A level or below. I like to get to know my students and have have tutored for the past 2 years. I'm currently studying at UCL, currently placed in the top 3 best universities for the subject. I'm also happy to offer any advice to those applying for the subject who'd like to know about different course structures, teaching or coursework. I can travel to you, and I am currently based in West London.
I have been a tutor for around 2 years. But have taken a 2 month break over my exam period. Those who I have tutored last year received an A at A level. I have always been deeply interested in History of Art, which is what I find keeps me motivated when teaching since I'm keen to impart knowledge with students. I myself have recently been through school and still have all the relevant materials and a grasp on what is asked for the exam.
I am a student at University College London, currently studying History of Art in the Class of 2019.
I recently took the decision to complete a Fine Arts foundation year at Central Saint Martins to give me the chance to expand my knowledge and practical skills of contemporary art before starting my degree. Because of this I gained much experience in this respect, having experimented greatly in media, such as video making, installation work and performance pieces. This has also allowed me to hone in on my presentational skills, gaining huge experience in speaking about my own artwork, whilst also learning the importance of reflecting on my creations and collaborating with other students.
I’m fluent in French and Romanian and have always found such a skillset useful, especially when it comes to History of Art and understanding other Latin-based languages. I have had work experience in both a large National Museum and more hands-on experience in a nationally recognised conservation and restoration studio, learning about the processes and materials in painting and sculpture
My recent work experience and internships have taught me hard work, eagerness to learn and to relish new challenges, none more so than when my organisational skills and creative problem solving were put to the test when it came to curating my own exhibition last year.
I really appreciate exploring different creative paths, and will do so using the knowledge and experience I have gained to help me with the challenges that the creative industries will present.

Internship at the National Museum of Art, Bucharest
Gained a two-week position working amongst some of the Directors of one of the most prolific museums in Europe. I learnt much working alongside important figures of the art world and through my hard work at such an early age, managed the opportunity to take part in restoration work on some of the museums pieces. Learning the restoration process and understanding the mix of substances and the detail that goes with it.
October – November 2015
Exhibited and curated my work as part of a competition at the National Theatre of Bucharest
Curated, opened and hosted my own art exhibition at the National Theatre of Bucharest. Winning a competition, through my design, portfolio and interview screening process, I won the opportunity to showcase my work at the National Theatre of Bucharest. This taught me project management, curation skills and hosting skills. The entire operation was down to me, from the catering to the invitations and pushed me to realize the amount of work needed to make this happen. The exhibition was successful, drawing in hundreds of visitors that commended me for my own work.
July – August 2016
Work Experience at a Conservation Studio, Bucharest
Spent time working at a conservation studio in Bucharest, allowing me to hone in on my conservation and restoration skills I acquired in my previous work experience role as well as draw in on new skills in client organization and management. The restoration role enabled me to further my understanding in this field and allowed for a more hands-on experience. I had the opportunity to work with both wood and paint, while taking part in my own personal project of restoring a 17th century angel carving.
I am confident in using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
I am fluent in English, French and Romanian.
