My teaching method is conversational. Together we will explore all the evidence on display and make sure that we understand fully the meaning of each scenario. History can appear meaningless and confusing - but there are simple ways of tackling the past. Research and looking at things through fresh eyes are just as important as the words on a page. Through discussion and perseverance we will make sure we understand each era properly and completely.
I am a History graduate, who has been working in the creative industries for over 15 years. I LOVE History, and making sense of the past. I remain eager to impact my passion and help teach the past. Looking to help students make sense of history through conversation and evidence - and hopefully appreciate and see it for the vital humanity it is. So much of today's world can be traced directly back to the recent past and in modern times it is even more important to help make sense of the past.
