As I recently completed my bachelor degree, I give lessons to secondary students or new undergraduate students. What characterises mainly my teaching method is the capacity to adapt: to specific course and syllabus requirements and to my student.
I am convinced that, in order to succeed in any subject, one must enjoy studying it. Making those with whom I discuss history seize what makes it captivating is therefore essential to me. Furthermore, as it is a discipline in which individual viewpoints and perspectives are valued, teaching history always goes in two directions: I often learn as much as I teach about it, which is an immense pleasure.
Half French, half Canadian, I speak fluently French and English. I completed my secondary education at an international school in Belgium where I passed four A-Levels. I carried on with an intensive two-year undergraduate course at one of the best schools in France, the lycée Henri-IV, before completing my history bachelor degree at the Sorbonne with honours. I was led to study the history of various geographical areas under different methodologies, which helped me embrace the subject better. But most importantly I am passionate about communicating history to others, whether family members, friends or fellow students.
