Having just done GCSE's and A levels, I understand exactly what is needed for optimal revision, and the attainment of high grades, with 70% of the grade resonating in a preparation and planning. I believe massively in reading the exam spec, and understanding exactly what the child needs to do specifically to achieve high grades. Having done research in the field of pedagogy, I believe in adapting the style of my teaching to suit the person being taught. I have learnt from teaching my brother, and friends that you must be flexible to achieve positive outcomes. My lessons will be based on a mixture of attaining life skills, as well as getting the best possible grades.
I have helped 8 students complete their personal statements (to get into university), of which they all got conditional offers. The person that I helped the most got three unconditional offers from different universities. I got an A at GCSE level history and English, and am currently doing my A levels. On my last past paper I managed to get an A*, and full marks on one of my questions. I have achieved an A* in my courseworks for history, and English literature. I was able to transfer the knowledge I acquired in history to help my friend drastically improve their politics grade, despite not taking the subject. I am planning on doing a degree at Warwick University. I am extremely focussed, enjoy teaching, as well as learning. In the future I wish to be a university professor.

Experience
For work experience I have taught in primary schools, which has enabled me to understand the importance of adapting teaching methods for children with mixed abilities. I also helped coach my brothers football team, which helped me gain experience with larger groups, resulting in better leadership, and organisation skills. Doing a talk about the education system in England has helped me develop some important skills when it comes to revision, and retaining information, such as the importance of active learning, as opposed to passive learning.
I have been playing football since the age of six. Currently doing A levels in History, Philosophy and English.

I have become famous for my perseverance, as I do not give up. This also translates to my work ethic, as I am determined in this case to help students prepare for their exams, and get the best out of the lessons.
Skills
I went to Germany on my own to improve my German language skills. This greatly helped me with my independence and organisational skills, as I had to adapt to a new environment in a different country. Speaking fluent Portuguese, and some German has helped me understand different histories, and understand different points of view, which I find particularly useful when learning, and teaching history. Differing interpretations for example is a requirement in A level history for the obtainment of high grades, which many students are unaware about.
