I provide, detailed one to one lessons, offering advice on exam technique, essay writing, and approaches to revision. All lessons conducted online via google hangouts, with a strong focus on student led teaching. My teaching process is focused on identifying key areas for development and breaking them down indivudally to focus on approaches to the subject, specific content gaps or areas for improvment, as well as general exam technique and essay writing.
History student commencing studies at the University of Oxford in October. Achieved three A's in my A levels in 2019, and so have a good grasp of the content and specs needed to achieve good results.

History (A level, Edexcel)
Modules studied include: the USSR from 1917 to 1994, the GDR 1945 to 1989, and British history of warfare 1789 to 1918. Based on the up to date spec of the History Edexcel course, featuring the USSR and British Warfare as breadth studies and the GDR as a depth study, featuring source and general essay questions.
Coursework was on the French Revolution specifically the terror. Can provide assistance for historiography and approaches to dealing with analysis of historians arguments for the Edexcel spec coursework.
English Literature (A level, Edexcel)
Books studied include: Tess of the D’urbervilles and Mrs Dalloway (Novels) Hamlet and Waiting for Godot (Drama) John Keats and Forward anthology of poetry (Poetry).
Can provide a rich amount of own analysis to the texts, as well as a wide amount of historical / literary contexts.
Coursework was on the novels ‘Things fall apart’ by Chinua Achebe and ‘Heart of Darkness’ by Conrad.
Politics (A level, Edexcel)
Modules included the standard course of A level politics plus ‘Global politics’ as the third paper option and Nationalism as the chosen extra ideology studied.
Can provide detailed analysis and explanations for ideologies questions, as well as guidance for general politics A level content and essay technique.
Peterhouse College Cambridge, Vellacott History Prize 2018
Vellacott Prize is a national essay competition run by Peterhouse College Cambridge for year 12 students. My essay on whether ‘Donald Trump was a reaction or a revolution’ was selected as a winning essay.

History Society Hills Road Sixth Form College 2019
As a member of the executive of the society, involved in organising and inviting leading academics to come to the college to give talks, including assisting in organising the end of year History society conference.
Breadth of experience in developing professional speaking and communication skills, as well as the development of student lead seminars.
2019: A levels in, English Literature (A) History (A) and Politics (A) including an Extended Project Diploma (A*) at Hills Road Sixth Form College.
2017: 9 GCSE qualifications completed including, English Language (8) English Literature (9) and Mathematics (6) at Finborough School.
