'My 5 year old daughter Chelsea has been having recorder lessons with Hollie since March 2013. I am very impressed with the progress she has made so far. Not only does Chelsea now possess a good technique that enables her to play many recorder pieces all by herself, but also she has developed a real enthusiasm for exploring the music world and enjoyment of recorder playing. This has all been the result of Hollie's excellent teaching....'
..''Hollie has proven experience to teach very young children, I found her lessons are well structured and she is very patient to teach Chelsea. She makes many opportunities to praise her, Chelsea always enjoys her lesson and wants another gold star in her books. As parents we are extremely grateful for what has been achieved and we hope Chelsea will continue to progress at this rate and have a skill for life that will never leave her''.
“My 9 year old son has been taught by Hollie for the past 8 months and I am very impressed with the standard of teaching. I sometimes sit in on lessons and am amazed at how much enthusiasm and fun Hollie brings to the sessions and just how much she throws into each lesson. She not only covers the technical aspects but also musicianship, history, listening skills etc all of which are essential aspects to a musician but often forgotten about in routine lessons...
