I like to first understand the content (textbooks, homework, exams, etc.) students are expected to learn by their institution. I then break down lessons by theme (e.g. employee engagement and wider HRM, business strategy versus tactics, etc). Business is a pretty flexible area of study so lessons may simply be discussing the implications of emerging academic discourse, or it could be memorisation techniques for set material (management accounting, steps for registering an ltd company in the UK, legal precedent and Acts).
I am currently studying my MA in Japanese, although at undergraduate level I completed a full-time sponsored business management degree while also working full time at Barclays UK as a personal banker, and later as a LifeSkills programme operations specialist. I conducted my dissertation research on the quantitative effect of affinity networks in employee engagement-indicative behavioural change. After graduating I worked for two years as a startegic business consultant for Fujitsu UK, for a mix of public and private sector clients.

He's patient and willing to walk though and Japanese that you're struggling with. Would recommend to anyone who is serious about learning a new language or Japanese. An awesome tutor!
James is a very patient and fun tutor, and very easy to communicate with and is willing to meet you where you are with Japanese to help get you to where you want to be. He's serious, but is good at reassuring you and helping you feel comfortable during the class.
Thorough yet easy to understand - taught me some of the grammar points that I found harder to grasp in much simpler terms.
