Learning the guitar is a fun experience that people undertake for a number of different reasons. If you are looking to learn guitar then taking lessons are a fun and fast way to become an accomplished guitar player. In the long run guitar lessons will make you a much more rounded and advanced musician, and will get you on the right track much quicker than any other method of guitar training.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I play in numerous bands here in Chichester, including the Tom Belbin Trio, a successful jazz trio that plays regularly all over the country. I have been playing for close to 20 years, and have a BMus and MMus in music performance. I have played in front of large audiences of well over 500 people at a time, with members of the rizzle kicks, scouting for girls and more. I have headlined my own concerts and have performed in every setting imaginable. I have recorded my own compositions and have extensive knowledge of songwriting.
I have been teaching for 6 years, including spending a year in New Zealand teaching and playing. I teach at Chichester College, have taught for band workshops all over the south coast, and have put students right through their grades with 100% success rate to date.
