Whether you're just starting out or at the stage where you're beginning to play more advanced repertoire, I can help and look forward to working with you. Feel free to have a look around my website ((concealed information) which may give you a little more information about who I am and what I can offer you.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching for over ten years and have experience in teaching a wide variety of students and subjects. Some of my pupils are novices taking their first steps; others are working towards advanced level grades and diplomas. I also help newly-qualified teachers (or those about to enter the profession) develop their skills.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I had appropriate checks completed when I worked in schools between 2001-04 and was deemed fit to work with children. I have no convictions that would prevent me from working with children.

- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians
Listed on the ISM Register of Professional Private Music Teachers
- Tell me about some of your current students.
My students stem from all walks of life: I have a higher than average number of adult pupils but a sizeable number of young people too. Some are working towards graded exams; others are at diploma level. Others take lessons without the need to take examinations.
