I have been teaching English at all levels for about 10 years. And have developed a specialism in IELTS instruction. Later this year I will be launching a website with a unique take on getting students to prepare for the IELTS exam online. In the last 18 months, I have worked with a mix of learners: IELTS students who were trying to score 6.5 or more - some who had particular problems with writing. All improved their overall scores. I have also worked with numerous executives. In addition, I continue to provide long term tuition to a number of senior international business executives some of whom I have helped develop their businesses in Britain - discussing current trends, making introductions to potential buyers and investment opportunities. Relevance is at the core of my approach to executive tuition - designing English language tuition for executives to match their business needs. If you want to know more about what students think of my teaching, I can provide you with contact details.

You are very tolerant and receptive, patient and calm in your teaching procedures. I think you are one of the best as far as explanations are concerned. Your lessons are always well detailed so that everybody can understand something and make a summary of it to someone else. You really emphasize on illustrations, many examples relevant to the course are usually brought up by you to make your lesson not only efficient, but also effective.
(you) helped me to improve my English quickly. I felt really enthusiastic going to school every day because I learnt something new and significant. It was an English class, but Nigel always mixed it with general information about others subjects which made the classes interesting, easier to understand and more attractive to me. Nigel has been the best English teacher that I have had so far. I learnt with him in about 3 months (what) many teachers tried to teach me in two years.
