Hello, I'm Sophie!
I am happy to teach skills to anyone from high school level to degree level and beyond.
My structure will focus on certain drawing and painting techniques and putting them into practice. Sessions will be very relaxed, there is no pressure what so ever to produce a masterpiece!
I have skills using pencil and paint, thread (embroidery), along with Adobe Software- Photoshop and Illustrator.
I also do a lot of "make to sell," creating products and doing art fairs and events, this is something I'm also happy to give advice on!
I'm an illustration student in my third year at PCA, and intending to do a Primary PCGE next year. I haven't previously given lessons but have been working in art based schools assisting with lessons and would love some more teaching experience and to also pass on some of my skills or even learn so new things myself!
My travel costs vary depending on distance, I will charge 45p per mile.
An illustrator and student based in Plymouth, I’m very outgoing and ambitious when it comes to my practice. Working with younger people in an artistic setting is a perfect way of teaching young minds that you don’t have to be an academic, making and creating is an amazing way of learning. I would love to be a part of the process of helping children and young adults learn through the arts.
