My name is Jason Li and I am a third-year chemistry student in Imperial College London.
I am looking forward to helping GCSE and A-level students in tackling problems they face in chemistry study and striving for better exam performance.
I started tutoring 5 sixth form students A-level chemistry in Greenshaw High School, Surrey and the students claimed that they learned more in the 1-hour tutorial than in their lessons throughout the week. I have also been tutoring A-level chemistry in China.
Oct 2014 -- present: Chemistry MSc, Imperial College London, expected first degree
April 2017: Imperial College UROP Award
March 2015: Best Spectrometer Design in Undergraduate Physical Chemistry Lab
Ruohao is a great friend to me. We met in the first year of our Undergraduate Chemistry degree at Imperial College, and were assigned to the same group for a project on building our own spectrometer. Working with Ruohao was a pleasure and being the productive and clever person he is, our team won first prize for the best project in the entire year group! In our third year of university, we both volunteered and ran a fundraising society called 'Raising and Giving' (RAG), whilst also managing our intense academic timetable. During the year RAG raised in excess of £20,000 for various charities, and Ruohao was responsible for much of the organisation and implementation of the collections. He is a generous and kind person, and also has a good sense of humour, usually cracking jokes during conversation!
He is committed to his studies and is an extremely talented chemist, with an extraordinarily inquisitive mind. I highly recommend him as a tutor.
