As a professional teacher I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. In my classroom I believe that all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society. I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching, to allow for inclusivity within my classroom domains. I strongly believe that there is no one size fits all approach to pedagogy and learning. Therefore, I constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, religions and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.
I am a third year Biochemistry student at Imperial College London preparing students of different levels for their GCSE/A-level exams. I have completed several training programs, including the tutoring program at Action Tutoring for children of a wide age range. Successfully taught around 30 students over the last 4 years and improved their educational progress in both Biology and Chemistry.
Maria was teaching me Russian for several years as I needed to move to Moscow for my internship. I successfully passed the language test and received the B2 level certificate!! Highly recommend!
