I prefer a hands-on approach with challenging task-setting and giving feedback on work. The process of learning and learning 'how to' is more important than knowing 'what'. In one-on-one lessons, I will focus on getting to know students and help them in how they think and approach exercises.
I have a masters degree in geology from Imperial College in London, with a strong numerical background. I'm now pursuing a PhD in Plymouth and I offer science/mathematics tutoring. I have experience as a graduate teaching assistant teaching undergrads at Imperial and now at Plymouth University.
