My teaching method is based on understanding the principles, even if they aren't necessarily being examined. Learning methods without a sound understanding is only effective in the short term, and prevents a strong foundation from being built - especially in mathematics.
I have just finished my first year studying Materials Science and Engineering at Imperial College London. I have gone through various periods of 'catching up' throughout my schooling period, after moving schools twice, and thus I understand the difficulty in being behind.
