I primarily use a Learner-centered interactive teaching method that gives the students to learn as much as they can from me, and at the same time I learning as much as I can from them. During discussions, I imitate the methods my professors use, and also what I get from the internet in order to achieve a refreshing yet fundamental style of teaching. I use analogies from everyday experiences, and connections to real life objects in order for the students to understand what I teach better.
I have been teaching Physics and Mathematics in the peer tutoring program at my school for a year now. 98 students that were picked by teachers participated in the peer tutoring program with the aim of them improving their performances. After the first semester, results of the peer tutoring blossomed, as about 80% of the students in the peer tutoring program had a significant increase in their grades.
I've been working on a few capstone projects including, Robotics operated prosthetic, a case study on child prodigies, and working on fruit shelf life longevity from carbonated rice hulls.
