I am Hitesh Santwani, an Indian. I have done B.Tech in Information Technology. I used to teach Physics and Mathematics to the student of 9th, 10th , 11th and 12th Class.
When I was in 2nd year , B.Tech, the very first time I realized about my teaching passion due to my friends who newly entered in our college directly from diploma. [Diploma students generally skipped 11th and 12th, and directly get admission to 2nd year in engineering]. Since, they came from different courses which not include Maths, hence they were weak in Maths. At the time of exam, whole group of diploma students (around 15 students) used to learn Maths from me. With time being, I realized that they don’t know basics also. And that was the first time I get to know about my teaching skills along with management skills. I teach the basics along with the course included in our exam in such a small duration, so they don’t get full marks, but they must satisfy with my teaching and should score atleast more than 70%. But there results shocked me, when they scored more marks than me ☹ But then they made me realized it was my marks not there, which make me happy. Among them, one friend was too weak that I used to teach him as much as low level (like student of std.5) This helps me to learn about level difference between person to person or student to student, and how to fill this difference with patience. (By the way, that weak student cum friend is currently in USA.) Another thing which I learnt, is that teaching is not only noble job, instead it is one kind of human nature. Everyone who used to teach others, become strong in that topic. The one thing which makes me different from other teachers (as per my thinking) is my thought regarding the word 'teaching'. In my dictionary 'Teaching' word includes the knowledge sharing along with learning the way of thinking. (That means 'how a student must think'.) I would like to teach my students that how should they react or respond to new questions. They should be able to convert the given question into the form of knowledge which they know. (In other words, converting the new unknown concept to the known concept) "Education includes knowledge, but learning (teaching) includes utilization of knowledge in one or many different ways. " For example, I don’t use to do multiplication of 25 x 15 as childhood method, instead I used distributive law, i.e. 25 x 15 = (20+5) x (20-5) = sqr(20)-sqr(5)=400-25=375. Along with marks, I want to see the confidence on the faces of my students, and the feeling of happiness and proud on the faces of their parents for their child.
I am in Teaching Field since last 4.5 Years.
Around 900 students , I have taught Physics, Maths and Computer also. My Student not only includes toppers, even Include the students who were below average before joining my coaching institute and I brought up to above average. One of them, who was just passed in 11th Class, was able to clear IIT-JEE Mains 2017 in 12th Class.
My Aim is: I used to convert Average to Topper and Topper to even higher.
As an experience teacher, I would like to devise captivating, fascinating, and unique practices of teaching that creates interest in the students. With the help of my cordial nature, I would like to build good rapport with students as well as staff around.
