My teaching method is based on helping students to consider underlying causes, and to explore subjects holistically, to promote a deeper understanding. I encourage curiosity and debate as crucial learning tools for a collaborative learning approach, which I view as essential for politics.
I am a recent graduate, with an Msc in Global Europe, Culture, and Conflict from LSE, and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Greenwich. My focus has been politics and culture, but my work has included history, sociology, philosophy, linguistics, Nordic/Norse studies, economics, international relations, and conflict studies.
My research so far has focused on diverse subjects, and I have specialist knowledge on Nordic cultural-politics, refugees in the British media, development methods in the Empire and Commonwealth, and Machiavelli.
In addition to my degrees, I have received awards from the European Institute and University of Greenwich, and written for the Generation Brexit think-tank.
