My methodology really depends on the age. For example, if I am teaching to kids, I often use images to represent concepts. It also depend on the level. If the student’s level is already pretty good, I tend not to speak English at all so that students are encouraged to think in Italian, and also, to get used to the sound of the Italian language.
I was born in Rome and when I was 18 I became an exchange student. I spent one year in England and I went back to Italy to finish my studies. Now I’m back in Torquay and I am ready to start teaching again!
“Absolutely recommend. Beatrice’s method is clear and simple to understand. Verbs have always been a struggle for me but I have learnt so much more with her than anyone else! Very friendly as well, I’ve never felt afraid to get it wrong.”
I have met Beatrice over one year ago and since then she has been teaching to my children (8 and 6). She is really outstanding. My children learned a lot and liked very much to spend time with her. Very very professional, trustworthy, she always prepares the lessons in advance, follows a clear and proven teaching method, review homework: not the usual boring language teaching, but a very funny and effective way to teach people. Each lesson with her was a surprise, a combination of studying, playing, interacting, a very enjoying time. She searches for books and papers to help students to learn and finds videos and whatever media may be helpful to learn. Absolutely recommended!!
