My main method is letting go of the academic and learn the actual language Italians speak everyday on the workplace and in their daily life. Many books I have been dealing with presented a fake language, which foreign students are seldom made fun of. This does apply to every language. In fact, I found this to be the case in my experience with English and Mandarin too.
I am a postgrad student, completed already a MSc at the London School of Economics. I have been giving informal lessons to beginners and advanced students since my undergrad in Venice, where I also have been a buddy for exchange students from all over the world. One of my students also found a job in Malta, thanks to his Italian proficiency.
My rate for an hour is £18 including travel expenses, that is why the online rate is only £15.
Special offers for multiple hours apply for the online lessons. However, multiply hours face-to-face are counted as following: 5h: £72 (1h free), 10h £144 (2h free), due to travel expenses these are multipliers of the travel rate.
My undergrad was focused on Chinese Culture and Language. I graduated in Venice and had an exchange semester in Beijing. I do speak proficiently Mandarin, indeed. I undertook a MSc in Anthropology and Comparative Studies at the London School of Economics, then. My main profession is being a writer and a journalist for a variety of academic reviews. I write mainly on politics, but not only.
