I am an Italian piano student at Royal College of Music in London

About the lesson

I am an Italian classical pianist and I have been teaching to young and adult beginner since many years. During my lessons I like to work on the research of sound and the resolution of technical gestures as well as the understanding of the body, which is very important in musical playing, so they can reach their musical ideas. I am a very solar and calm person, bringing also energy and motivation during lessons. I enjoy helping my students by putting them at ease and helping them to learn with confidence to achieve their goals. During lessons I am also happy to practice with my student and helping them having confidence and enjoy playing.

About Giacomo

I am Giacomo Rossi Prodi, an Italian classical pianist born in Florence (1994). After graduating 10 years piano diploma at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, in 2018 I obtained a master degree at the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano, with professor Cristiano Burato. I am now attending the Mperf at the Royal College of Music in London with professor Gordon Fergus-Thompson.
In Italy I attended International Course of Musical Interpretation at Norcia, and the International Piano Days in Montepulciano (2016 and 2017).
During my studies I was selected to play with my professor’s class in several european cities such as London, Oxford, Bristol, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Malta and Budapest.
I played in concerts held in Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Merano, Scandicci, and in the Sala Michelangeli of the Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano.
I took part to a few international piano competitions (first prize at Vito Frazzi competition in Scandicci), and was chosen by the Conservatory of Bolzano to take part to Busoni Piano competition and thereafter to play in two editions (2016 and 2017) of the Bolzano Piano Festival.
