- Tell me about your qualifications.
BA (Hons) Primary and Secondary Mathematics Education from LJMU in 2011 (1st), as well as CELTA from Solihull College in 2006. I also have an open university BA (Hons) The Humanities with English Language and Philosophy (2.1).
- How much do you charge?
£15 per hour for individual tutoring, £20 per hour for 2 or more students, increased rates for weekends. Plus reasonable travel expenses where necessary for non-local work.
- Where do you teach?
Can teach in students home / other suitable location provided by student/parent in the Liverpool area + 20 miles. Can also provide online tuition through scribblar/skype.
- When are you available?
Evenings from 5:30 (earlier each alternate week). All day Mondays, possible weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
KS2 - GCSE, Adults up to similar levels, EFL all ages/levels.

SATs, GCSEs or any other specific qualifications within this range.

- Do you have a personal message for students?
I take a flexible approach to tutoring which is dependent on the goals and preferred learning style of the student in relation to their current understanding of the subject. Wherever possible, I try to make learning relevant to the interests of the student in order to maximise engagement and enjoyment of the subject. I am by nature very patient, and I believe that success is based on understanding of the processes involved in arriving at the solution.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have completed teaching practices in primary and secondary schools during my teacher training and have worked as a mentor and tutor through the Aim Higher programme. I have taught EFL in a variety of settings in the UK and Abroad.
