- Tell me about some of your current students.
I teach singers ranging from all ages and stages in their vocal development. Some are complete beginners who always wanted to sing but never had the time or courage, and others are passionate amateurs who sing in local choirs and would like to develop their technique to help them join more advanced choirs or prepare for solo performances.
I also help more established singers to brush up on their technique and audition preparation.
I also teach at Ibstock Place School in South West London.
• MA (Royal Academy of Music, London) & MMUS Opera (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland)
• BA in Music Performance (Royal Irish Academy of Music)
• Advanced DBS Certificate (formerly CRB)
I've enjoyed immensely working with Jamie and can feel a noticeable improvement in my singing.
Not wishing to sound like a soap powder commercial, but Jamie gets great results in super quick time. Convinced I was an alto, he had me singing miles above where I thought I could in the very first lesson. Try it and see if you can see the difference...
Jamie is very skilled, patient and motivating. Lessons are pleasant, interesting and fun. I have very much enjoyed working with him this year and look forward to making good progress in the new academic year.
