Methodology

I teach classic Alexander lessons and one to one Pilates. My emphasis is on good technique whether it is in everyday activities, exercise and sport, or performing arts.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach individual lessons in the Alexander Technique. I also teach one to one Pilates to my Alexander pupils who want to have Pilates lessons, but it is entirely up to the pupil. I decided to train in Pilates after experiencing the benefits for myself. I am more and more convinced of the importance of exercise, especially good quality exercise.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I did my Alexander training in London, finishing in 1979. My trainers were all professional musicians. My Pilates training was with Body Control Pilates in 2006.

- How much do you charge?

My standard charge is £40 per forty-five minute lesson. There are concessions in some circumstances.

- Where do you teach?

I teach from home in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

- When are you available?

Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am until last appointment starting at 6:15 pm

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach anyone from 13 up 80+.
