- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Support for students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, study skills, English Literature, English Language GCSE and Advanced Level, Creative Writing, EFL and ESOL. I can offer general study skills support in areas such as reading skills, research, note taking, essay writing and time management and am experienced in supporting students with dissertation writing.

I have a degree in Philosophy and English Literature, a postgraduate certificate in teaching English and Communications for the Further Education sector, an RSA Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English as A Foreign Language to Adults, a Certificate in Life Coaching and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Dyslexic Adults in Higher Education (Distinction)
- How much do you charge?
I am charging £25-30 for EFL/ESOL tuition, £30 for GCSE and £35 for Advanced Level English tuition. Study Skills and Dissertation support start at £30. The rate for Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD support is £40. I offer reduced rates if more than one hour is booked and for students booking a block of sessions. This would include a refund for any missed sessions. Travel expenses vary from £3 to £6, depending on distance and travel zone.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home in Edgware and can travel to Burnt Oak, Hendon, Harrow, Mill Hill, Stanmore, Golders Green, Hampstead and Camden.
- When are you available?
I currently have Mondays available and work weekdays and evenings in the week. I do not work at the weekend. I am available for tuition in the summer holidays and for some periods during the Easter and Christmas holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach 14 +, from GCSE to Advanced Level ; all levels of ESOL/EFL exams/English skills for adults/undergraduate/postgraduate study skills and support.

- Do you have a personal message for students?
One to one tutoring give you the time and space to identify and make the most of your existing strengths while building new skills. I aim to make learning accessible and fun. My goal is always to help you take control of your learning by discovering strategies that work well for you as an individual.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I spent fifteen years working as a college lecturer and taught English at Access, GCSE and Advanced Level as well as teaching English as a Second Language from Beginner to Advanced Level. During this time I worked in a learning centre as well as the classroom and developed materials for supporting students in different subject areas. I delivered small group and one to one support sessions to students with language and literacy needs. I have over twenty years experience in private tuition in EFL, English Language and Literature GCSE and Advanced Level. In 2009, I followed my interest in learning differences and trained to teach adults with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD at university level and have successfully supported students following a very wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently working with several students with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD at university level. The focus is mostly on study skills such as essay writing, effective reading, note-taking and issues such as time and stress management. Feedback is positive and I have been working with some students for the duration of their degree.
