Methodology
Hello! I come from both a Classical and Jazz music background with an emphasis on teaching through listening with the ears and exploring the student's sound. I've studied saxophone with Classical saxophonist Kyle Horch and currently with Jim Corry of Jamiroquai, and have a scholarship to study Pop Piano with Andrew Hickley at Leeds Conservatoire.
I think it's important to have a thorough grasp of technique and theory but the most important thing is to be creating music and having fun!
Experience
I'm an experienced guitarist and guitar tutor, and have gigged in Bangkok, London and Leeds in various bands and ensembles.
While living in London I busked full time while touring and gigging with 'The Long Game' and 'Amalie Bryde'. I'm currently studying at Leeds Conservatoire and have recorded and gigged with 'Soapbox Marathon' and 'Nick Keating', as well as being a frequent collaborator with various other artists in the Leeds area.

While living in Bangkok I taught at the ‘Hub’ (A ChildLine centre for homeless and disabled children) teaching guitar and English at the weekends in addition to giving private piano lessons. I currently teach saxophone, which I specialise in at Leeds Conservatoire.
