With QTS (graded outstanding) and PGCE at Level 7 Merit, I'm currently Head of Science at a top school in the Borough of Bromley. I additionally mark the GCSE examinations for AQA so have an EXCELLENT understanding of the needs of the new GCSE.
With the success of my previous pupils in 2018, I am looking to take on two more tutees.

I know Jessica both as a teacher at my daughter’s school and as a private tutor, and have over the past year got to know her personally. She provided GCSE tutoring to my daughter in both Physics and Chemistry. Jessica is an outstanding tutor whose passion and enthusiasm for science easily transfers itself to her tutees giving them the confidence and self belief to tackle those exam questions they previously thought beyond them. She takes the time to assess and listen to where her new students are with their learning which allows her to adapt her teaching to meet any specific learning difficulties, in my daughter’s case dyslexia and to pitch her sessions at their current level of understanding. The quality and speed with which she covers the curriculum is phenomenal, school lessons are quickly recapped and gaps in their learning closed. She has an in-depth knowledge of the new curriculum and has multiple resources at her disposal, her students can be assured of plenty of exam question practice which allows them to develop a strong technique. On a personal note I have found her to be a very kind and patient person whose dedication to her teaching profession and subject can’t help but prove an inspiration to any student she teaches.
