Ms Joana Valentinaviciute comes across as a totally dedicated violin teacher. She took my son, then 7, as one of her student and spotted his early signs of wrong habits, collected them with enormous patience. Her teaching was vigorous and precise, accompanied by her genuine affection for each individual and her innate love for the music in general and the violin in particular.
When my son took for his first grade exam, she took care of all aspects of preparations, not just technical issues, and helped him at ease for the big day. We were ever so grateful for her support throughout. I recommend her most highly to any aspiring violinist.
Joana is a very professional and talented violin teacher. I had private lessons with her while doing my Master's in performance at the Royal College of Music. Her help was of paramount importance for my development as a musician. Joana's repertoire is huge. She helped me with Bach partitas and sonatas for violin solo, Mozart violin concerto No.4, Sibelius violin concerto, Stravinsky Suite Italienne, Ravel violin Sonata, etc. I'm very grateful for all her help and patience.
