I am a French and Italian student at UCL and achieved straight A grades in my GCSEs and A-levels, so know exactly what it takes to succeed. I tailor my classes to the areas the student wants to work on.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I achieved A*AA in my A-Levels in History, French and English Literature, as well as AAAA at AS-Level. I also achieved 8 A*s (Including French and English) and 4 As at GCSE. I have completed some modules in a TEFL course.
- How much do you charge?
£20 per hour
- Where do you teach?
I live in Bridgwater, but am willing to travel as far as Bristol, Exeter and Bath to teach students. I am also very open to doing sessions over Skype/video call.
- When are you available?
All day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Sunday evenings from 7 o'clock
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I specialise in GCSE and A-Level students, but I could do beginner classes too.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I am willing to tutor online, if interested just email me to arrange. I have Skype, if the client wishes to use another form of communication then that is not a problem, I am flexible (I don't mind downloading a new programme etc. for tuition purposes)
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a very approachable tutor and, as a university student, have plenty of free time to communicate and give advice outside of class time. Having completed my A-Levels myself recently, I know exactly what is required. My previous students have given me nothing but positive feedback. I start with my students by identifying the areas that need to be improved, the areas that are strengths and adapt the lessons to suit individual areas. Then we work hard on these specific areas, always keeping focus on what is required of them in the exam. My methods have always proved successful with past students.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have tutored privately to both GCSE and A-Level students and have had very positive feedback on my sessions. I have experience with teaching a wide range of students, from those aiming for A* to ones looking to pass. I have experience in tutoring students with dyslexia too.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No, I've never needed one but can give references if desired.
