We are delighted with the results of the work you put in with our son Keir which we believe took him from a projected B rating to an A*. Key to this was the very structured way you took him through answering questions. Your thoughtful approach to challenging his suggested answers was also notable in that it kept Keir fully engaged over a number of hours. His exam technique confidence also improved markedly. We would be delighted to recommend you to other parents who may be in need of similar help.
As an English Literature student at University, Joseph has helped me greatly in working on a personal and durable writing style that I can employ throughout all my work. Thanks to this approach I have had more confidence with both essays and exams. With this approach and confidence my marks have improved a great deal and I have achieved first class results at University. I have really valued Joseph's patience and dedication to my specific requirements as a University student.
In reference to Joseph, I have known him for nearly twenty years and I would recommend him to any employer for a variety of reasons. He is hard working, loyal and a very focused individual. I can also vouch for his honesty and integrity. I can honestly say that he is very self-motivated and would be an asset to any company or profession.
Joseph has been calm and confident in a range of classroom situations and has a range of strategies for dealing with the often unpredictable situations that arise. He has an exceptionally warm and engaging manner with others. He is friendly and approachable and has won the trust of even the less co-operative of our pupils. I have every confidence that Joseph would be an excellent asset. He has highly developed people skills, confidence and maturity and a sincere and engaging manner.
Joseph is adaptable and flexible. He is able to improvise and adapt strategies to deal with situations as they arise. Joseph has worked alongside me teaching Drama to the full age and ability range of pupils. I have no hesitation in supporting his application.
Joseph is able to establish productive working relationships with a wide range of people. He relates very well with children and is able to control, motivate and encourage them. He is able to adapt quickly to new situations. He is calm, tolerant, considerate and resourceful. As a teacher, Joseph has proved his ability to commit honestly and with enthusiasm to his work. I strongly recommend him to you.
Skillful targeted questioning elicited information from the students. The students were enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed the lesson. Joseph had an excellent rapport with the students and kept a high energy level. A very well structured and interesting lesson where students were challenged and engaged, clearly working towards the examination, and developing high level analytical and evaluative skills through a learning dialogue in the classroom.
Has excellent subject knowledge and a relationship with pupils that is both positive and productive. He also creates a friendly business like environment and has a creative interpretation of schemes of work and the National Curriculum.
I got into Liverpool! (University of) Thank you so much for everything none of this would of happened if it wasn't for u! (August 14th, 2014, 7:40 am)
If an opportunity comes up to take on Alex from the end of October, when we plan to be back in London, Alex would very much like to have you as a psychology tutor.
I appreciate this may not work with your scheduling, but I think Alex has benefited so much from your tutoring and helping to build his confidence, that it would be a shame to lose the connection he has with you.
