- Which subject(s) do you teach?
My primary specialisation is in French and German. I teach grammar, sentence construction and conversational skills for those studying for linguistic papers and also literary analysis and critique for anyone facing literary papers. All levels offered - beginner through GCSE/A-Level to University and beyond. I also teach History and English to University application level. I offer various associated topics, such as Essay Writing, Interview Skills, Proofreading and Public Speaking - all of these are of use and value to University applicants.
I am also a professional singer, appearing regularly with established ensembles in the UK such as the Academy of Ancient Music, the English Concert and Polyphony. I qualified with a MA from the Royal Academy of Music. I am a staff member on the National Youth Choirs and Ulster Youth Choir, for which work I hold full CRB accreditation for working with children. I am particularly keen on working with developing voices, and would be delighted to offer tuition to anyone considering auditions for choirs, youth organisations or Choral Scholarships.

I have an MA (1st class) from Cambridge University and an MA (Distinction) from the Royal Academy of Music
- How much do you charge?
I charge a flat-rate fee of £30/hour.
- Where do you teach?
I teach from my home in South Norwood, which is 10 minutes from Norwood Junction and Selhurst stations. I am within a 20 minute walk of Crystal Palace.
- When are you available?
My timetable is somewhat dependent on my professional musical commitments. I would routinely aim to teach on weekday evenings.
