- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am able to provide help with KS1 and KS2 English/Literacy (reading, writing, spelling or a combination of these), and KS1 and lower KS2 (Years 3 and 4) maths (children in Y5 or 6 working at this level more than welcome). I am happy to work with children who find the subject difficult and would like a little extra help and children who have specific special educational needs. My specialist subject is history and am happy to provide support for this subject at primary level also.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a fully qualified primary teacher (PGCE with QTS), qualifying in 2004. I also have a BA Hons in History and an MA in Museum Studies.
- How much do you charge?
£20 per hour standard fee. Travel at 44p/mile will be charged for students living outside a 15 mile round trip. Discounts for group lessons/extra children may be available - please ask.
- Where do you teach?
Am happy to teach at my home or travel to students' homes. Able to cover the Isle of Anglesey, Bangor, Y Felinheli, North Gwynedd
- When are you available?
Available weekday evenings and weekends. Can continue tuition during school holidays.

I have been home tutoring for a year. The children I have tutored have gained in confidence, improved their skills and moved up groups in school within months.
