Background

- What kind of experience do you have?

I am a London based Piano and Music teacher for the last ten years having worked in schools, music services and privately. I have developed a diverse experience of teaching music during these years having taught students of various ages and abilities. I tailor the lessons on the needs of the student, making sure that the student is discovering his/hers creativity and imagination in the lessons, and is most importantly, enjoying the lessons!

In my piano lessons, I aim to develop the students' general musicianship skills, effective learning skills, posture, sight-reading, theory and ear training along with his/hers piano playing. I am also happy to incorporate folk/ popular music elements in the lessons so to match each students' needs and interests.

I also perform as a soloist and accompanist regularly and I am currently studying towards a PhD on contemporary piano repertoire.

I am an active performer as well as a teacher, having regular concerts in the UK and abroad either as a solo pianist or with my chamber group.
