- How much do you charge?
I usually teach from home and my standard rate is £35 per hour or £30 for 45 min. In the case of traveling at students' homes, I would also charge for travel expenses.
- Where do you teach?
I am based at New Cross Gate, Telegraph Hill SE14 and I mainly teach at home on a Yamaha U3 upright piano, although I am happy to travel at student's homes if preferable!
- When are you available?
I am available on weekdays daytime or evenings and weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have experience of teaching children from the age of 4 through to adults and have the knowledge of basic/ advanced techniques having taught beginners up to advanced levels, such as Grade 8 and Diploma level. I have also been involved in teaching groups of beginners' creative workshops for pre-school children (ages 2-5).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM exams, Trinity Guildhall Graded Exams, auditions, competitions and university exams.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Although I feel that online tutoring can be challenging when teaching the piano, I nevertheless offer online lessons particularly for music theory, general musicianship skills and help with essay writing for university students.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I aim to tailor my lessons to suit the individual needs of each student whether that refers to grades, technical development, general musicality or just for fun!
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a London based Piano and Music teacher for the last ten years having worked in schools, music services and privately. I have developed a diverse experience of teaching music during these years having taught students of various ages and abilities. I tailor the lessons on the needs of the student, making sure that the student is discovering his/hers creativity and imagination in the lessons, and is most importantly, enjoying the lessons!
In my piano lessons, I aim to develop the students' general musicianship skills, effective learning skills, posture, sight-reading, theory and ear training along with his/hers piano playing. I am also happy to incorporate folk/ popular music elements in the lessons so to match each students' needs and interests.
I also perform as a soloist and accompanist regularly and I am currently studying towards a PhD on contemporary piano repertoire.
I am an active performer as well as a teacher, having regular concerts in the UK and abroad either as a solo pianist or with my chamber group.

- Where and with whom did you train?
I trained in Greece at the University of Macedonia with Bulgarian pianist Milena Mollova. Since moving to London in 2006 I studied under Yonty Solomon and Douglas Finch at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
