I am a creative facilitator when it comes to teaching. I ensure that links are made with the work that I produce and give the pupils the necessary steps to ensure that they make those links. Reasoning and problem solving are a speciality of mine. I understand that fluency is easily gained by a pupil, however, what pupils really find difficult and misunderstand is when they need to use that fluency to explain how they got an answer or to use that fluency to work out a problem.
I am currently a master of science student, studying Human Resource Management. I've been a primary teacher for 3 years and have tutored for approximately a year. I've taught and prepared children for the Mayors 'count on us' primary challenge, which is a maths tournament for year 4 and 5 pupils involving over 100 schools across London. The pupils I taught and entered made it to the quarterfinals.

Teacher (Head of Philosophy and Music) – 2015 – Current
I have worked amongst and have liaised in meetings with governors, headteachers and senior leaders to set up and improve pupils social, emotional and educational standards. As head of the subject, leading meetings and creating incentives for the team to carry out specific agendas is an ongoing task for me. Thinking critically, openly and deeply about conveying particular messages and harvesting information to improve the positive culture in the workplace, that is easily accessible for others, continues to be an aim of mine.
