I’ve known Niovi in a professional capacity for 4 years. She is an extremely hardworking tutor, always researching new ways to make her lessons interesting and relevant. Niovi goes the extra mile with her students and this is evidenced in the majority of her students entering prestigious UK public schools. Her biggest achievement tutoring a young student who was awarded a Queen’s scholarship for Westminster.
Niovi is a valued colleague, as a support and for sharing ideas about good practice. Her skills lie in motivating students and working with them to achieve their highest grade possible. She has a very good knowledge of Latin and French; her knowledge of linguistics ensures that her teaching resources are of the highest quality.
I have no hesitation in recommending her a tutor.
I am a tutee of Niovi and her Ancient Greek lessons are always constructive. She always asks me if I'm confident enough on the topic we covered last lesson and gives me questions making sure I remember stuff from that lesson. Even though Ancient Greek is very hard and I ask her the same question over and over again, she never gets frustrated but explains to me until I really get it. I think I have improved a lot, which has shown in my marks'.
Niovi is an excellent tutor. She is very efficient and hard working and teaches extremely well. She is very patient and thorough and diligent in her approach. She comes very well prepared for lessons and seeks out and sends additional material through even between sessions. I would highly recommend her.
