Law and Criminology lecturer in further and higher education with a specialism in human rights law - teaching all levels
Methodology
In addition to adult learners, I have experience in teaching various levels including primary, secondary and A Level learners. My experience as a cover supervisor and teaching assistant has enabled me to work with a variety of students which has resulted in me aquiring skills in differentiation, scaffolding and inclusive teaching. I have taught students with learning difficulties and disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour and I believe that I am particularly skilled at building a good rapport with my students and allowing them to become confident both in their ability to grasp new concepts and build on their understanding, but also in my ability to support, guide and facilitate their learning.
My teaching style differs with each individual and I believe I am very flexible with my teaching methods and I enjoy altering my style in response to the variety of students I teach.
Experience
I am a law and criminology lecturer in further education. I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education. I have a law LLB undergraduate degree and a Masters in human rights law. My area of specialism is law, and I am able to teach a borad range of students and levels which can be seen in my profile.
I have experience working in the legal field within employment law, which has built on my knowledge and understanding of how the law is applied in reality. This is something I use in my teaching, which has proved to be effective.
As well as teaching, within my role I am also responsible for assessing, providing feedback, creating module content and assessment criterias, therefore I keep this in mind when teaching to ensure I am covering all required content.
I am a very passionate and dedicated teacher and I will always go the extra mile for my students to ensure that I provide all of the support, guidance and facilitation that is required to enable each student to reach their full potential.

My hourly rate increased by £5 on October 1st 2020. If you signEd up before this date, you can continue to pay the current lower price until 31st December 2020. After this date, all prices will be at the higher rate.
Unfortunately I am unable to offer any face to face lessons for the foreseeable future. However, when applicable, travel costs start from £5 and may increase depending on your location.
