I approach teaching lessons in a highly efficient and methodical manner. I aim to equip students with the extra bit of knowledge that can turn a B into an A*. Additionally I tend to use model answers combined with sample questions to guide students in the right direction.

SKILLS AND STRENGTHS
I have a natural interest for current affairs, particularly in regards to economics. This has been reinforced by regularly reading blogs/broadsheet newspapers and using fantasy investment portfolios. As a result of this I have a high level of understanding of the state of politics and the markets, both in the UK and internationally.
As work experience, I spent a week in the Employment Law division of Simmons & Simmons in Bristol. Being given the opportunity to take a hands-on approach with a number of cases and actively participating in research, which carries with it a high degree of responsibility, has given me a sense of the workings of the legal profession.
Attending trials at the Bristol Crown Court in my spare time has offered me some experience of the courtroom environment, exposing me to the tangible effect the legal system has on people.
I have an appreciation and a natural interest for other cultures having been brought up by a British father and a French mother.
I have experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds from my door to door canvassing and political activism.
Public performance in the context of theatre, and speaking/debating competitions has helped my ability to reason, whilst offering me the confidence to manipulate rhetoric in front of an audience.

Louis is organised, understanding, and very easy to get along with. Good guy, great teacher!
I would recommend Louis as a tutor. He has made a welcoming environment which has enabled me to study at a university level. Louis is flexible, thoughtful and knowledgable and listens to what you have to say. He works hard to build your knowledge and study skills and also self-confidence.
