Methodology

Whilst teaching methodology varies between students, I approach teaching by gaining an understanding into the struggles of my pupil. It is only then that I can begin to teach them how best to broach subject matter. I believe that adding fun to a lesson can help with long-term memory and academic achievement, however, the most important role of a tutor is to explain the subject in a clear, concise and precise manner. This is what I aim to do.

Experience

I am a native French and Irish speaker with years of tutoring experience. I have taken private classes, producing students with a fluency that cannot be replicated by a textbook. I have experience working with GCSE English, English literature and history GCSE students. Furthermore, I also have experience in general primary level lessons, tutoring students for the GL assessment. However, my aim is to instil the confidence in all my students that they are able to achieve whatever they put their mind to.
